The return of Santa Paws: a festive celebration with Jerry Green Dog Rescue
Jerry Green Dog Rescue is an organisation that exists to find safe, loving homes for dogs in need and believes that every dog is unique and worth fighting for.
The charity is thrilled to announce the return of Santa Paws. The festive gatherings are returning to the North Lincolnshire Centre in Broughton on Sunday 7th December and the South Lincolnshire Centre in Algarkirk on Saturday 13th December. These events invite local dog owners to celebrate the season alongside their furry companions, making Christmas memories while supporting an incredible cause.
Once again, Santa Paws will be available to meet dogs and their families, capturing magical Christmas moments with professional photos. Each ticket includes a delightful digital image with Santa Paws and a festive treat for every pooch, ensuring that all furry attendees feel the Christmas spirit. Visitors can enjoy delicious seasonal treats and warm drinks, adding a festive touch to the day.
Guests will also be able to browse a selection of stalls including pre-loved sales, a tombola, a raffle, and have the chance to win £1,000 just in time for Christmas through the Grand Draw ticket sale! The funds raised from the event will ensure that the charity continues to care for and find loving homes for dogs awaiting their new families.
Kirsty Meecham, Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager at Jerry Green Dog Rescue shares, “We’re thrilled to be bringing Santa Paws back to our North and South Lincolnshire Centre's. This is such a wonderful way to bring our communities together to celebrate Christmas, while supporting the dogs that we care for. We look forward to welcoming local dogs and their families to meet Santa Paws and enjoy a fun-filled festive day!”
Tickets for these special events are £8 per dog, which includes the digital photo with Santa Paws, and a Christmas present for each pup. Due to anticipated demand, tickets are limited to 6 dogs per timeslot, so prior booking is essential to secure a place at the events.
All proceeds from these annual events will go directly to Jerry Green Dog Rescue, helping to fund vital programmes for dogs in need. By joining the charity at the Santa Paws events, you’ll be helping them to continue to provide care, love, and rehoming support for countless dogs throughout the region.
The Santa Paws event is expected to fill up fast, so don’t wait to secure your spot. Join Jerry Green Dog Rescue to kick off the festive season with your pooch, celebrate the season and support a life-saving mission.
