This month marks the centenary of the birth of one of Britain’s greatest comedians – and one man wasn’t going to let the moment go unnoticed.

Unable to tour our latest stage show due to the pandemic, we simply couldn’t let Tommy’s centenary slip by without a fanfare, however! If there ever was a time to remember Tommy, and be thankful for him, then surely it’s at times such as this.

So, we’ve filmed a new ‘best of’ version our tribute show, honed and enjoyed by legions of fans, old and new, over the past eight years, and over four hundred performances. During that time, we’ve met Tommy’s family, featured on national TV, and played large venues, rural village halls, pop-up festivals, and a sixteen-week residency in London’s Museum of Comedy.

The show is an all-out homage to Tommy’s legacy, and will be broadcast, for free, at 7.30pm on Friday 19th March, from the Hambledon Productions YouTube channel.

We cannot bring Tommy back, but by celebrating him in this way, and sharing his unique style of comedy - a timeless, joyous, innocent and comforting kind of comedy - we will not only be rekindling memories for older generations, but also making new ones, for generations of Cooper fans to come.
