Saddle up for Western show

The Old West comes galloping back into the present day in Heydour this week courtesy of the guys and gals of Oasby Drama Company.

The troupe stage their latest production, Gunfight at the Heydour Gulch, at Heydour Parish Village Hall on Friday and Saturday ... complete with a dancing horse.

The piece sees evil saloon owner Clay Blaisedale and his posse of hired bandits hold the town of Heydour Gulch to ransom with their low-down cheating ways.

Everything changes when hero Tex McLintock rides into town.

A spokesman for the group said: “This latest offering from the Oasby Drama Company is a true village affair full of gunfire, song and of course, a happy ending!”
