Welton pupils set to perform at SO
Talented musicians from William Farr Comprehensive School in Welton are to take part in this year's SO Festival.
As part of the East Lindsey SO Festival groups, bands, orchestras and choirs from primary and secondary schools across the county will be taking to the stage at the Embassy Theatre in Skegness for the Lincolnshire Schools’ Prom on Friday, July 8.
Lincolnshire Music Service senior music adviser Jennifer McKie said: “The Schools’ Prom benefits children and young people on many levels: the inclusive nature of bringing together families and children to celebrate their achievements, the opportunity for children and young people to share with and learn from their peers and to help grow confidence by giving children the chance to play to a capacity audience at a large venue.”
The show starts at 7pm.
