Whitwell: Stained glass artist speaks at W.I meeting
Stained glass artist Cynthia Else spoke at a recent meeting of Whitwell and District W.I.
She gave a history of her career from studying textiles to teaching stained glass at Rother Valley College.
“Cynthia is passionate about her subject and her work and gave us a fascinating insight into the history and development of glass through the centuries. She had some beautiful pieces of her work on sale which were snapped up by some astute Whitwell WI members,” said a spokesman for the group.
