WIN! A family ticket for the Numberjacks
They are ten super heroes who live inside a sofa, but now they are emerging from their home and television screen for the first live show at the Royal Concert Hall, in Nottingham.
And the Worksop Guardian has a family ticket to give away to one lucky reader - all you have to do is answer a simple question.
The show is coming to Nottingham on Sunday 25th September for two performances, at 11am and 2pm.
In it the Numberjacks need children’s help to solve tricky problems and beat the dastardly Meanies, like Numbertaker and Spooky Spoon, who do all they can to disrupt proceedings, but with the help of the audience, the heroic Numberjacks will win the day.
The award-winning television has been running on the CBeebies channel since 2006.
It won the Royal Television Society Award for the best pre-school educational programme two years running.
It adheres to the Early Years Foundation Stage syllabus and the Primary National Strategy Framework for Teaching Mathematics.
The show introduces children as young as two to the world of maths in a fun and lively way and is produced by Richard Temple and Open Mind Productions.
Since its founding in 1989, Open Mind Productions have produced hundreds of children’s shows for the BBC, Channel 4, SEAC and CBeebies including Numberjacks, BAFTA Award-winning Ratatatat, RTS Primary Literacy and Numeracy Award-winning The Number Crew, and Living Proof, which received the Royal Television Society Best Junior Programme Award for 1996 and was nominated for the Japan Prize.
The company was founded by former BBC film editor Roland Tongue, and Chris Ellis, former teacher, TV scriptwriter and producer.
The show lasts for an hour and 25 minutes including a 15 minute interval.
The Worksop Guardian has a family ticket for a maximum of four people to give away. To be in with a chance of winning, simply answer the following question.
