Witham Ladies Probus at Woodhall Spa

Gemma Sissons from Lymn Bank Farm cheeses was the speaker at the meeting of Witham and District Ladies Probus and members were delighted to greet the youngest visitor they had ever had - Gemma's nine month-old son, Freddy.

Definitely a family affair, Lymn Bank cheeses was established 13 years ago in Thorpe St Peter.

Now making 18 flavours, they were given permission to use the Skegness Fisherman logo for Skegness Blue, and also the Just Jane trademark, as they have raised funds for the renovation of the Avro Lancaster at East Kirkby.

Gemma’s father starts work between 5am and 6am each morning, and the family have done as many as 500 shows in one year.

The next meeting of the Ladies Probus will be on March 28, when Alistair Goodrum will be speaking on Women in Aviation.

Meetings are held at The Abbey Lodge in Woodhall Spa, starting at noon for a 12.30pm lunch.
