WI - The March meeting of Woodhall Spa WI was the annual meeting when a new Committee was elected and Linda O’Neill was re-elected as President.

Following the business, members enjoyed a very interesting presentation and talk on Jubilee Park – it’s past, present and future, by Amaryllis Midgely.

Amaryllis explained the various ways to get involved in the running and upkeep of the park.

Woodhall Spa WI has recently donated a bench to the park and it is hoped to arrange a get-together for members to view the bench followed by afternoon tea.

Members were reminded about the walking group which meets on Monday afternoons (weather permitting) at 2pm at the mini roundabout for a walk of three to five miles.

The next meeting will be on Monday April 10 in St Peter’s Hall at 7.30pm, when the speaker will be Robyn Smith demonstrating felting with an opportunity for members to try this craft.

New members and visitors welcome.

Singers - The Spa Singers declare It’s A Wonderful World in another of their extremely popular concerts in St Peter’s Church next Wednesday, April 5, at 7.30pm.

As always, the wide-ranging programme will include many numbers for the audience to sing along with.
