Workshops for all the family

This Easter, families are invited to '˜hop' on down to Sleaford's National Centre for Craft and Design (NCCD) to enjoy a range of workshops.

Inspired by the current Alphabet Aerobics exhibition, the centre’s Activity Zone will become an art factory during the break from school. Visitors will be able to create a production line, deciding what kind of art it will manufacture.

Also in the Activity Zone, there will be the chance to create light-hearted safety signs out of vinyl.

These are free to attend, open to all ages, and run from Friday, March 25, to Sunday, April 10.

On Bank Holiday Monday, visitors will be able to help re-vamp the café crockery with local artist and potter Kate McBride. Using ceramic decals, they will be able to design their own plate to add to the centre’s collection.

This is free to attend, open to all ages, and runs from 11am-3pm.

In addition. the Tots Tuesday sessions on March 29 and April 5 will be extended so older family members can attend, with some special activities planned. These are free, open to all ages, and run from 10am-2pm.
