Worksop: Doncaster Youth Swing Orchestra to set feet tapping at The Crossing

Forming a musical upbeat opener to harvest weekend, the Doncaster Youth Swing Orchestra (DYSO) will play at The Crossing in Worksop on October 3.

Part of Doncaster Youth Jazz Association, the swing orchestra is run in tandem with Doncaster Youth Stage Band, Youth Jazz Orchestra and the adult Jazz Orchestra.

The founder and driving force of DYJA – John Ellis MBE – has a tremendous track record of helping young people achieve their potential and, in many cases, professional music careers.

The DYSO programme offers both instrumental and vocal swing favourites, as opposed to jazz.
