Worksop: Home-grown talent Edmund is back to play at The Crossing

Edmund Taylor is a London based violinist in his fourth and final year of a Performance Degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

However, he comes from Worksop and is an ex-pupil of St Augustines’s Junior School, Retford Oaks School and Wales High School.

He was taught music theory and piano by Worksop organist Dr Anthony Skilbeck Taylor.

Growing up in Worksop, Edmund was a member of the Sheffield Youth Orchestra and lead violinist of the Rotherham Youth Orchestra.

His Worksop concert will be part of the duo Duo Carico, which he has formed with pianist George Webster.

They are at The Crossing on Saturday night (30th May) at 7.30pm.
