Worksop: Kim Wilde and Billy Ocean top the bill for this year’s Flashback Festival at Clumber Park

Clumber Park is set to see an extravaganza of wild costumes and retro dancing when a host of 1980’s musicians take to the stage for the annual Flashback concert this summer.

Headlining the six hour feast of music is Billy Ocean, sho has sold over 30 million records through massive hits such as Love Really Hurts Without You and When the Going Gets Tough.

Joining him on the bill will be Kim Wilde, who will bring back great memories with her 1980s hits such as Kids in America, You Came and her worldwide smash You Keep Me Hanging On.

Also confirmed are Sheffield band ABC, who were icons the 1980’s pop and dance scene with songs like Poison Arrow, The Look Of Love and All Of My Heart.

Returning to Clumber will be former Bronski Beat and Communards frontman Jimmy Sommerville and Flashback favourites Go West with their hits like We Close Our Eyes and Call Me.

Another flashback debutante will be Midge Ure, best known for his time with Ultravox and monster hits like Vienna, Reap The Wild Wind, Dancing With Tears in Your Eyes and Love’s Great Adventure.

Also on the bill is Katrina, former lead singer of Katrina & The Waves, who is best known for the infectious hit Walking on Sunshine.

The stunning line-up is completed by Doctor and the Medics, who were created 21 years ago by the Doctor (now known as Rev Clive Thomas Jackson) and who had a massive chart-topper with Spirit in the Sky.

Flashback takes place on Saturday, 16th August at Clumber Park.
