Worksop: Organ maestro Paul Hale to perform at The Crossing

Top tier organ music is on offer in Worksop later this month when The Crossing on Newcastle Street welcomes Paul Hale, cathedral organist and rector chori of Southwell Minster.

“We are very fortunate to have Paul with us” said David Jordan, The Crossing’s concert organiser.

“This is a real opportunity to hear a master perform at the king of instruments, as Mozart called the organ.”

His Worksop programme will include no fewer than four thrilling Toccatas, which are designed to test an organists prime skills, including the towering Widor Toccata, which is beloved by many brides, and the legendary Bach Toccata and Fugue in D minor

The concert takes on Saturday 25th October at 7.30pm (doors open 6.45pm).
