The Guardian has a pair of tickets to give away for the performance at the The Crossing on Saturday 5th April.

The Worksop town centre venue is much favoured by the choir and the show promises to be breathtaking.

David Jordan, The Crossing’s concert programmer, said: “This is the choir’s first since the untimely passing in 2013 of Pamela (Cook, choir founder and director), whose dynamism turned Cantamus into a national and international choral legend.”

“We are already hearing about how successfully the new director, Ann Irons, is building on Pamela’s choral legacy of excellence built with Cantamus.”

Founded in 1968, Cantamus is based in Mansfield and consists of 42 girls aged between 13 and 19. Its repertoire includes works from the 11th to the 21st Century.

Cantamus Girls’ Choir are at the The Crossing on Newcastle Street, Worksop on Saturday 5th April at 7.30pm. Doors open 6.45pm.

Tickets are £13, £12 Concessions and £4 for under 16s from The Crossing’s welcome desk. Alternatively to order tickets, and pay on the night, call 01909 475421 or email [email protected]
