And we have two tickets to give away for a gig that is set to rock the park.

Status Quo will make their first appearance at Clumber Park on Friday, 15th August when founder members Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt will be joined on stage by keyboard player Andrew Brown, bassist John ‘Rhino’ Edwards and drummer Leon Cave.

“This will be our only appearance in the East Midlands this year and we are really up for it already,” enthused Francis Rossi.

“Playing live is what Quo is all about and we just love being on stage in the open air.”

“I don’t think we have ever played a National Trust gig before so it should be very special.”

Ever since their first hit single Pictures of Matchstick Men, Status Quo have been on of Britain’s top live acts.

Classics like Rockin All Over the World, Whatever You Want and the chart-topping Down, Down are all expected to feature in their clumber set, alongside tracks from the band’s new album, Bula Quo!

Status Quo have had 33 hit albums in Brtiain, including Rockin’ All Over The Years’in 1990 which sold 1.1 million copies in Britain alone.
