Back in business at the BBC

Binbrook & District WI have been pleased to be able to get together in small groups.

An informal get together took place in the grounds of the BBC (Binbrook Bowls Club).

As a talking point, they were asked to take along their favourite handbag.

Some of the diverse stories behind the members’ choices were both surprising and poignant.

These ranged from it’s my adventure bag, a £5.99 bag that had been mistaken for a £5,990 designer bag and others which were cherished presents from loved ones.

Most admired of all was a small coin bag made by the member herself.

Throughout the past year, WI president Hilary Harris has been keeping everyone talking through a weekly newsletter, which have even seen the popular monthly competitions continue, but they all agreed there was nothing like chatting in person.
