Boston-area business’ customer service hat-trick

A dog food manufacturer near Boston has once again been honoured for its customer service.

For the third year running, Laughing Dog has won the Feefo Platinum Trusted Service award – an independent seal of excellence that recognises businesses for delivering exceptional experiences, as rated by customers.

Created by global online reviews platform Feefo, Trusted Service status is awarded to those businesses that use Feefo to collect reviews and insights.

Those that meet the high standard, based on the number of reviews they have collected and their average rating, receive the honour.

Laughing Dog is part of Fold Hill Foods Ltd, based in Old Leake.

Marketing manger Kate Tarrant said: “Winning the Feefo Trusted Platinum Award gives recognition to how hard the Laughing Dog team works to give great experiences to all of our customers.

“Our team listen, understand and respond to our customers’ needs, ensuring that we find the right recipes to suit their four-legged friend.

“The Laughing Dog customer service team has, like everyone, had a challenging time during Covid-19, balancing working from home with a high demand of calls and emails from customers. But staying positive throughout it all and with excellent teamwork we’ve ensured for a first-class customer service, providing next day delivery to our online customers, and supporting our pet shop retailers and their own customers too.

“We also provided expert advice for pet parents during lockdown restrictions, including campaigns from ‘Louisa the Vet’ and renowned dog trainer and behaviour specialist, Graeme Hall, ‘The Dogfather’.”
