The estate has taken the re-opening as an opportunity to thank those working on the front line of the crisis.

Mr Wiggins-Davies said: “We also want to take the opportunity to say a huge ‘thank you’ to all of the Covid heroes. We have been touched to see how the Revesby and wider community has come together. To truly show our appreciation, we want to reward a frontline worker with a year’s free fishing membership.”

To be in with a chance to win, entrants must be a key worker and an experienced carp angler. They should send their details to [email protected]. A winner will to be announced in June.
