Back in business - Sleaford area shoppers and traders excited to reopen after lockdown
Shopkeepers in the Sleaford area have reported a good first day’s trade after the easing of lockdown restrictions.
The government’s roadmap has allowed non-essential shops, barbers, beauty salons, gyms and pubs to reopen.
There was a celebratory mood around the town with lots of shoppers on the streets looking to make the most of their newfound freedom - while still following covid safety guidelines.
On the top of many people’s list was a haircut, with queues stretching back down the street outside some in the town.
