Applicant, Skegness Property Ltd, says it will benefit residents and tourists as it lies within other shops, flats and houses.

Agent Bella King, of Bella King Design Ltd, states in the planning documents: "The removal of the previously redundant factory, which was in a poor state of repair, will be replaced with units that can assist small business owners within the use classes, especially with such an accessible site with parking.

"The proposed building is to be located towards the West of the site to enable accesses and parking off Roman Bank, on the East side. The car park and units are likely to have CCTV monitoring systems thus providing added safety for all."

The application will be determined by East Lindsey District Council in due course.
