Double award for machinery firm at event

A leading manufacturer and global supplier of site machinery with a base near Boston has achieved a first at its industry's leading exhibition by winning a brace of honours.

In its 10-year history, no company has won two awards at the Executive Hire Show.

However, at this year’s event, Morris Site Machinery collected Exhibitor of the Year and the Innovation Trail.

The firm, which has a manufacturing plant in Gosberton, impressed show-goers and mystery judges with a showcase of innovations and products suitable for the hire, construction, rail, TV and film sectors.

Stealing the spotlight at the show was the exclusive ‘Makinex’ range of products. Known for ‘Making In-Efficiencies Extinct’, the range was primarily built for the Australian hire market, where robustness and reliability are paramount due to extreme on site environments.

Chris Morris, chief executive said: “We are delighted to have won these two awards and be recognised for driving innovation in our sector. As a leading manufacturer we are proud of our engineering heritage and ensuring our customers are armed with the most efficient and safe products to help them grow their business.”

He added: “Our focus in 2016 will be to offer the best products at the best price, along with establishing long term partnerships with our key account customers where we work together to mutual benefit.”
