"We would encourage anybody to give it a try, for one thing, the more stalls there are on a market, the more likely people will want to visit it to buy their good.

"For anybody wishing to test public reaction to their products cheaply, having a market stall is a great idea.

"We endorse this campaign and will welcome anyone taking up the offer to stand on our market here at Spilsby and assist however we can,”

Coun Adam Grist, Portfolio Holder for Market Towns and Rural Economy, said: “Our markets play a big part in helping our town centres prosper and attracting people to each of our fantastic market towns.

“The discounted rents offer we run every January and February is not only a chance to reward all those traders who are with us throughout the year but also to try and attract some new traders and hopefully grow our markets as a result.”
