Town councillors are to discuss concerns over the future of admissions at Skegness Grammar School.

A debate on a consultation regarding closing boarding provision of the school located at Wainfleet Hall will take place during tonight's zoom meeting of the council.

Skegness Grammar School, an academy in the David Ross Education Trust, is currently designated as a school with boarding provision, with capacity for up to 55 pupils located at Wainfleet Hall.

The consultation regarding closing the facility was launched on March 8 and closes on April 19.

Also on tonight's agenda are updates on the next stage of plans by Connected Coast to spend the £24.5m alllocated to Skegness.

In addition there is confirmation the Urgent Treatment Centre at Skegness Hospital has re-opened 24/7 and an update on the Saltfleet to Gibraltar Point Beach Nourishment Strategy.
