Gainsborough's new Cardzone officially opens

Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough has welcomed a new store as Cardzone officially opens.

The brand new store opened on Saturday, September 19, with a special ribbon cutting with the staff who were joined by area manager Andy Hicks.

The company has taken on the 1,496 sq. ft. former Clintons unit at the shopping centre and the former Clintons team have also been employed at the new store.

The new store is located next door to The Works and Holland and Barrett at Marshall’s Yard and will stock a great range of greetings cards as well as gifts, including Yankee Candles and Disney Traditions.

Charlotte Toplass, tenant liaison executive at Marshall’s Yard, said: “It is lovely to welcome a new store to Marshall’s Yard and we are really pleased that the unit has been filled in such a short space of time.

“The new store stocks a fantastic range of products and they make a great addition to the Yard – we wish the whole team all the very best in their new store.”

Cardzone opened its first shop in Sheffield in 2005 and now has more than 100 stores across the UK with the new Marshall’s Yard store the latest to open its doors to shoppers.

Alice Bartlett from Cardzone said: “Cardzone at Marshall’s Yard will offer a huge range of greeting cards, home fragrances and gifts. We pride ourselves on offering top brands at affordable prices and will stock brands including Hallmark Cards, Yankee Candles and Disney Traditions. We are also thrilled to have such experienced staff joining us to become the new Marshall’s Yard Cardzone team.”
