The Holton le Clay business, run by Paul and Sam Beatty, closed its doors on March 20 in line with Government guidelines.

But Paul and Sam soon recognised that clients wanted to support people within the local community who are going above and beyond during the Covid-19 outbreak.

Sam said: “We had a number of clients getting in touch asking if they could donate in some way, which was when we decided to run the campaign.

“We have added an extra £5 for every £10 donated and we just can’t believe how kind people have been.

The business is also asking people to nominate their everyday lockdown heroes via their Facebook page as part of a giveaway of over £2,000 worth of products.

To donate to the frontline heroes fund, visit www.beautyatthegate.co.uk/gift-vouchers where you can contribute online as well as purchasing gift vouchers that can be used after the lockdown - with £5 extra added for every £20 you spend. You can also visit www.facebook.co.uk/beautyatthegate to make your nomination for giveaway.
