Pod Hub was created to give businesses and creators across Lincolnshire access to high-quality podcast production without having to travel to larger cities.
Based in Beaubridge Business Park, in Heath Road, the studio boasts three different ‘pods’ set up as stylish and comfortable spaces for interviews. Staff handle all the technical aspects, using professional lighting, sound and video equipment – including multi-camera recording from four angles.
Among the guests at the opening event on September 7 was Mayor of Skegness, Coun Dan Kirk, who cut the ribbon to officially open the new facility.
“It’s a very impressive set-up and the staff are all very friendly and business-minded,” he said. “A big thank you to them for inviting me. Hopefully it might stop the ‘brain drain’ of creative people from leaving the area.”
Others who visited were also full of praise, calling the new studios “incredible” and “awesome”.
The Skegness-based firm behind Pod Hub is Sinarchie Media. Marketing director Lauren Wignell said: “Pod Hub is a professional podcast and content creation studio here on the Lincolnshire Coast, designed to give businesses, creators and podcasters a space to record, create and connect.
"Several of our clients have told us they were having to travel to places such as Leeds, Birmingham and Nottingham to record their podcasts, so there has been a lot of excitement around having a dedicated facility like this available locally.”
The studio has four different set-ups, in three different pods, designed to suit different brands, conversations and styles:
• The Luxe Pod – An all white, clean and contemporary set. Because of the pure white base, staff can introduce different colours through lighting and styling to complement a client's branding.
• The Creator Pod – A natural, warm and homely environment designed to create a more relaxed and conversational feel.
• The Executive Pod – A black and wood set with a more sophisticated, professional feel, ideal for business conversations, leadership content and interviews.
• The Pink Pod – A pink and white theme can be set up in the luxe pod. This will incorporate pink accents and pink lighting throughout the pod.
“Our standard set ups accommodate between one and four people,” Lauren explained. “The studio is wheelchair accessible and has been designed to make the whole experience as straightforward and comfortable as possible. There is free parking, a comfortable waiting area, toilets and refreshments available.”
Emphasising they are much more than a room for hire, she added: “Every session is technically supported, so clients can turn up and talk while we handle the technology. The studio includes Shure SM7B broadcast microphones, Canon R5 Mark II and Canon C70 cameras, professional lighting, multi camera recording with up to four live switched angles, individual microphone recordings, superfast wired internet and a Pod Hub technician supporting every session.”
Discussing Pod Hub’s iconic branding, Lauren explained: “The branding is a tongue-in-cheek nod to a very recognisable corner of internet culture. We wanted Pod Hub to have a bold identity that people would notice, remember and hopefully talk about. Pod Hub is an entirely independent business and isn’t affiliated with Pornhub.”
According to Ofcom's Audio Research Report for 2026, 27% of adults now listen to podcasts every week - an increase of 4% from the previous year.
