Ireland contract win for town firm
The deal secured by BemroseBooth Paragon, the manufacturer of RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) and smart enabled plastic tickets, relates to Leap Cards.
These are reloadable smartcards that can be used to pay for public transport services in the Irish capital Dublin, Cork and Waterford on Ireland’s south coast, and Galway and Limerick on its west coast.

The company was also responsible for the manufacture of a promotional Leap card, issued by the National Transport Authority (NTA) as part of events to mark 100 years since the 1916 Rising in Dublin.
The cards provide families of two adults and four children with the chance to travel for 24 hours for just €10 with a view to encourage families to use public transport around Dublin during the commemorations.
As well as Leap, BemroseBooth Paragon is also preferred supplier to a number of leading brands working across the transport, retail, finance and government sectors.
