The Greater Lincolnshire LEP is a business led partnership between the private and public sector, and was formed in response to a strong desire by the business community and the public sector to ensure that economic interests of the area were properly represented.

Ursula Lidbetter, LEP chair, said: “Our manufacturing sector delivers a direct economic value to the Greater Lincolnshire economy of £3.4 billion per year, employs about 57,000 people and plays a significant part in delivering the future economic growth of the region.

“One of our priorities has always been to support our key sectors, of which manufacturing and engineering is one.

“We are championing the development of infrastructure enhancements and we are supporting existing businesses to develop and grow through access to a skilled labour market, support to innovate and embrace R&D and access to new markets and local supply chains.”
