Messing about on the river!
Saturday saw Slea Paddlers canoe club's 9th '˜Come and Try Day' on the River Slea, when the club made use of the extra kit purchased with a grant from Eco2 and the Sleaford Town Fund,
The extra equipment saw a record number of paddlers on the water with over 85 families and children trying out canoes and kayaks during the day. The next official club session is at Tattershall on June 12 at 10am when some people from the taster day may go along. Anyone interested call 07841597733 or email [email protected]
This Bank Holiday younger members will paddle the 25 mile length of Loch Awe in Scotland.
