New gym to open in Spilsby

Vic is launching a new gym after losing seven stone and becoming a fitness trainer.

Fitness trainer Vic Holmes will launch Vfitness Boutique Fitness and Nutrition with a grand opening at the start of October - and can't wait to show off what the facility in Vale Road has to offer.

Vfitness has been open and running from a private studio in Stickford for nearly two years and boasts some 'amazing' successes amongst its 100 members.

- One man started at 30 stone, lost three and a half in eight weeks and now loves fitness and clean eating.

- A new to running member ran 200 miles to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust in August.

- A 34-year-old lost eight stone, toned up and is now training to appear on stage as a Figure competitor in the UK Bodybuilding Federation shows in 2021.

Vic said: "We are planning to have a grand open weekend on the first weekend in October to start with a big bang and get Spilsby and surrounding members signed up to the new facility.

"We planned to open just as Covid hit but faced delays with transforming the uni. It has been really hard going with lack of materials and trades trades people, as well as loss of income, but we are getting there.

"Over the two days, we hope to attract people from Spilsby and surrounding areas to join us, have a look around the gym, try out some of the kit, watch live demos on classes we offer and talk to our great staff team and past and present members.

"We hope to have a guest to cut the ribbon and other special appearances over the weekend.

"We will be offering sign-up savings on a variety of gym and classes packages.

"The smoothie bar will also be in full swing with samples heading out on trays during the tunes and disco lights.

"We don't do openings half-hearted."
