Bryan Shaw is looking to build the new two-storey housing on Low Road.

The site is allocated in the East Lindsey Local Plan as residential accommodation and documents submitted to the authority by Robert Doughty Consultancy have said the proposal will comply with the requirements of the plan.

They said the plans will be “without detriment to the amenity of neighbouring properties” while also meeting drainage and habitat requirements.

The local plan only allocates 20 houses to the site, reduced from 30 due to a “service strip” along a drain bordering the east of the site.

However, the developer believes they can get the extra houses in.

The outline application will see a new junction created from the road to use as an access, while all the properties will include garages and off-street parking.
