New Skegness pavilion to host networking event for volunteers

Volunteers are set to get a glimpse inside a new Skegness pavilion when a networking event is hosted there next month.

#SkegVolunteers' Networking Day and Open Day takes place at the Tower Gardens Pavilion on Wednesday, March 18.

The event is being held as part of Skegness Volunteers' Week - a celebration of the thousands of hours given by the town's unsung heroes each year.

Susie Crowe, Administrative Assistant for Skegness Town Council, said: "The networking event is an opportunity for local community groups to get together and share ideas and information.

"Local people will be able to come and look around the new building."

Volunteers are asked to take along information about their voluntary group to share with others. Information will be available about how to hire the Pavilion hall.

Skegness Volunteers' Week from March 14-22 is a Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service (LCVS) initiative delivered with support from Lincolnshire County Council, Skegness Town Council, Lincolnshire Coastal Destination BID and local charities including Skegness Rotary Club

The Networking Day and Open Day on March 18 takes place from 11am to 2pm.
