Lidl will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its latest branch, based in Tawney Street, at 8am.

During the day, customers will be able to sample some of the business’s award-winning products.

To further mark the occasion, exclusive deals and offers will be available on selected items during the first week of trading.

The opening of the shop will create up to 40 jobs for the community.

The store has a 1,122 sq m sales area and features an in-store bakery, longer-style tills with dual packing, customer toilets and baby changing facilities.

Lidl GB’s regional head of property, Andrew Hodgkinson, said: “We would like to thank all those who have played a part in bringing this new Lidl store to Boston.

“It is great for us to be able to create more jobs and investment opportunities in the area, and we can’t wait to start serving our multi-award winning products to the local community.”
