Peter Rabbit ready to welcome families to Skegness shopping centre this Easter

A display featuring a larger-than-life Peter Rabbit is welcoming shoppers at the High Street entrance.

Hide AdAnother amazing design by shopping centre manager Steve Andrews, it is hand-carved out of polystyrene. The display also features an animatronic Mr McGregor, who tells Beatrix Potter' tales of Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddleduck, two bad mice and Jeremy Fisher.
Families will see Peter surrounded by his spoils stolen from Mr McGregor’s garden.
"All of the centre staff were involved with the creation and installation of the display," said Steve.

Hide Ad"We absolutely love creating fun displays for our customers to enjoy.
"We have especially enjoyed seeing people having photos with Peter and Mr McGregor.
"The display is also there to help raise a bit of money for The Lincolnshire Wildlife Park’s - Nigel’s fund to help give Nigel the puma his forever home as he is beginning to lose his sight and needs a safe environment for him to stay safe.

Currently there are only a few essential shops open in the centre - including Home Bargains, WHSmith. Boots Opticians and Superdrug.
However, the centre is looking forward for being able to open up completely when further restrictions are lifted.
