Partnership NK is considering running a pop up shop so whether you’re an artist or crafts person looking to sell your creations, or have an idea for a shop that you want to try out, or a business looking to expand – the opportunities are there.

The facility will be located in the heart of Sleaford at Navigation Yard right next to the National Centre for Craft and Design, and will mean that all units on the site will be occupied with a range of businesses, including a hairdressers, a charity and a heritage organisation.

Anyone wanting to register their interest in Pop Up NK can do so by filling in a form online at www.n-kesteven.gov.uk/popup. Once these have been received, an informal drop-in session will take place where potential shop owners can find out more information with expert advice on offer – including small business support and employment guidance.

Herman Kok, chairman of Partnership NK, said: “Pop Up NK is a fantastic opportunity for new or expanding businesses to test the market place in Sleaford and gain important feedback from customers.

“Sleaford has a great retail offer with only 6.6 per cent vacant floor space – lower than the national average - making it a great place to do business.

“I strongly encourage anyone who thinks they might like to take part to register their interest using our online form so that we can provide the right support and information to potential pop-up shop owners at the drop-in sessions we’re planning to hold.

“I’m sure there are some fantastic business ideas out there and look forward to the suggestions that will be put forward.”
