From today, April 1, the Restart Grant Scheme applies and will be paid to non-essential retail business premises as soon as possible after the April 6, to help them reopen safely.

In addition, grants of between £8,000 and £18,000 will be allocated to hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym business premises. These businesses may open later under plans set out in the roadmap and will be more impacted by restrictions when they do reopen.
