Road in Skegness to stay closed for extra seven days
The closure of a road in Skegness for improvement works has been extended by a week.
The works on Castleton Boulevard - including carriageway resurfacing, footway replacement and pedestrian crossing enhancements - started in September and were expected to be completed in 15 weeks.
However, Lincolnshire County Council says the delay is due to additional layers of underground foundation needing to be laid before laying the final surfacing and white lines.
The road It is now expected to re-open on Friday, November. 29.
