A furniture business in Sleaford is bowing out of the town with a ‘celebratory retirement sale’, it has been announced.

Heather Johnson, owner of Feather & Stone, in White Hart Mews, Southgate, said: “It has been extremely rewarding to have established my business over the last four years and I’ve been blessed with a wonderful customer following.

“However, my husband’s early retirement this year plus the economic impact on trade during the ongoing crisis, has accelerated my decision to close the shop and look forward to the next chapter of life’s adventures.”

Three months’ notice has been given, Heather said, and since last Friday all remaining stock have been reduced to half price to clear.
