Talk from Paralympic hopeful

Rio De Janeiro Paralympic Games hopeful Sarah Woods will be the guest speaker at the Sleaford Business Forum on Friday.

The Sleaford-based markswoman is aiming to qualify for the Games this summer in the 10m Air Rifle Prone Mixed division.

Sarah is currently ranked eighth in the world and has represented Team GB in a variety of international competitions including the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Shooting World Cup.

Jenny Elwick, Sleaford network development officer at Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are thrilled to host Sarah Woods as our guest speaker at this month’s Sleaford Business Forum.

“Having already overcome so many challenges, Sarah has an inspirational story to tell.

“I hope that through telling her story at the forum, many local businesses will help and support her in her journey to the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.”

Businesspeople in the Sleaford area are invited to attend the event.

The forum runs from 7.30am until 9am at the New Life Centre, in Mareham Lane, Sleaford.
