Tesco applies for permission to sell alcohol from Boston petrol station kiosk

Supermarket giant Tesco has applied to Boston Borough Council for a variation to its premises licence.

The chain wants to include the petrol station kiosk at its site in New Hammond Beck Road, Wyberton Fen, within the scope of the premises licence for the main store.

The hours of operation for alcohol sales within the kiosk would be limited to between 6am and 10pm, the application states.

Any representatives regarding the application must be made in writing to the borough council by Tuesday, February 2.

Tesco has been approached for a comment regarding the application, but at the time of writing had yet to reply.
