James Dunn, AW’s group operations director, said: “The site fits perfectly with our geographical growth strategy and further extends our reach.

“While it has been difficult due to the impact of Covid-19, our usual team of contractors have been able to ensure socially-distanced working has been followed throughout the fit-out process and, as always, the final outcome is a clean and clinical environment.

“In fact, if I may be so bold to say, I think we have excelled even our own high standards on this one!”

The site boasts such kit as: ADAS (advanced driver-assistance systems) diagnostic and re-calibration equipment with inset scissor lift, a Car-O-Liner Speed bench, mid-rise lifts, a Beissbarth wheel aligner, and the eco-friendly Junair Spraybooth with fuel saver mode, quick air drying technology and full downdraught for simultaneous painting of mixed colours.

Founder and chief executive officer Andrew Walsh said: “I’m pleasantly surprised at how quickly we were able to bring Boston to fruition in such awkward times.

“AW Boston will link directly with the group’s TecKnowlogy Centre in Sleaford to utilise its specialisms in mixed material for structural repair and manufacturer approvals. This provides a comprehensive solution for customers as technology in the modern-day vehicle becomes even more prevalent.”
