Virtual jobs and careers fair to be held for Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland

Jobseekers will have the chance to learn about employment opportunities in Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland at a virtual event next week.

The next Greater Lincolnshire Online Jobs and Careers Fair will be held on Monday, January 25, from 10am to 1pm, on a new dedicated site: https://greaterlincsjobsfair.co.uk.

The past two virtual fairs have welcomed a total of about 750 people and featured more than 60 exhibitors.

Clare Hughes, skills manager at the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “Despite the challenges that businesses continue to face heading into the new year, there are employers who are recruiting for a number of positions at the moment.

“Owing to the restrictions that continue to be enforced across the region, it has not been possible for us to hold a traditional jobs fair, so instead we teamed up with local job centres and partners to create a platform that provides a solution for employers who like to meet and chat with potential candidates.

“We have received brilliant feedback from both visitors and exhibitors from the last two online jobs fairs, and we hope that the event will continue to grow in popularity and offer an aid to those who are looking for a job at such a challenging time.”

The event is free to attend and there is also no charge to exhibitors.
