20+ years Community Service
After many years running the Louth and District Voluntary Car Service, Bob Barnes, has now retired.
He established the service many years ago and it has been serving the local community and health authorities since then. Our voluntary drivers offer personal service and take people to medical appointments at a fraction of the cost it would otherwise cost them. The service is greatly appreciated by its many users and this is all thanks to the efforts of Bob Barnes.
We have a long history of providing transport for the community of Louth and District. Our aim is to ensure a good service from collection to destination, waiting, and return in a comfortable and stress-free way.
We have drivers in most areas of Lincolnshire and endeavour to find a driver nearest to the client to keep the cost down. We charge 50p per mile, which is paid to the driver in cash to cover car expenses. Mileage is from the drivers' home. Minimum call out is £5. Drivers have DBS and full insurance.
