Award hat-trick for care team

A specialist care home in Lincolnshire is celebrating a group of colleagues receiving a hat‑trick of award nominations.
Three colleagues from The Gables, part of Ivolve Care and Support, have been shortlisted as finalists at the upcoming 2026 Lincolnshire Care Association (LinCA) Awards, recognising their exceptional dedication to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred support.
The LinCA awards are annual, prestigious awards organized by the Lincolnshire Care Association to celebrate outstanding individuals, teams, and providers in the Lincolnshire care sector. They highlight "social care heroes" providing high-quality care, covering categories like residential care, community care and registered managers.
The Gables supports eight people with learning disabilities and mental health needs. Team Leader Carla Walker has been shortlisted for the Frontline Leader Award and Support Worker and Shift Lead Patrick Lawani is a finalist in the Residential Care Award category along with Support Worker Deborah (Debs) Bullock.

Carla was shortlisted for her outstanding commitment to improving the quality of life for the people supported at The Gables. Patrick has been recognised for the positivity, reliability and warmth he brings to the service and Debs has been shortlisted for her exceptional person‑centred support and the compassion she brings to her role every day.
The three will find out if they have been successful in their categories when they join the other shortlisted finalists at the LinCA Awards Gala tonight (Thursday 26 March 2026) which are being held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lincoln.
A spokesperson for Ivolve said: “We’re extremely proud of Carla, Patrick and Debs. Their dedication, warmth and professionalism embody everything great about social care. To have all three recognised by the LinCA Awards is a real testament to their impact.”
