Bob’sBrainwaves Handy Help Packs are launching in NELincs!
We are delighted to launch our packs in North East Lincs on 13th November to be opened by the Mayor of Grimsby Councillor Goodwin and her Consort Barry Goodwin.
Our NELincs packs will be in the Navigo Memory Services, The Gardens, Second Avenue, Grimsby where they will be given out at the point of diagnosis to carers and families or via The Alzheimer’s Society Office in the Centre 4 17aWootton Road, Grimsby DN338HE Tel. 01472 359247 just when families need a helping hand
‘It’s everything that you need when a loved one gets a Dementia diagnosis but don’t know where to find the help and it’s altogether in one place saving time, energy and the stress of searching for it yourself’ Chris Suich, Founder put this pack together from her lived experience when caring for her husband with Dementia as she wanted to help others navigate their journey more easily. Since Bob’sbrainwaves started in January 2024 we have given 1,600 packs out to carers and families living with Dementia across Lincolnshire.
Dementia is everyone’s business we all know of someone with it or a family that has been touched by the difficulties it can pose. Just think how powerful a voice we have if we work with other sectors like the NHS, Charities and groups to get Bob’sBrainwaves packs out to those that need them.
