Gin-credible fundraising from Louth distillery

The oldest distillery in Lincolnshire raised money for Macmillan Cancer Care through their own take on the traditional coffee morning.

Cake and Cocktails was the theme for the Louth Distillery’s event on Friday September 27, which they said was “a huge success”.

The coffee morning raised nearly £300 for the cancer charity and the distillery themselves also contributed £1 from every sale of their own brand Pin Gin to Macmillan.

The event was supported by other local businesses, with Lincoln Tea and Coffee Company providing hot drinks, sweet treats donated by Fiddley Diddley Catering, and further support from Cupcakes by Sally, Meg Bell Bakes, and Lincs Barista.

Amy Conyard, co-founder at Louth Distillery said “We were honoured to welcome the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor Darren Hobson and Sarah-Jayne Hobson, alongside friends, family, and local businesses. Our distiller, Tristan, took on the role of cocktail master, delighting guests with two of our signature Pin Gin cocktails.”
