Grants of up to £5,000 per year being offered for Louth projects
One-off grants of up to £1,000, or longer term three year grants of up to £5,000 are available to help Louth residents who are in need, hardship or distress.
Louth United Charities administers grants to Louth based organisations.
The income of the charity comes from bequests made over the last two centuries by 14 different Louth residents.
Louth United Charities trustees consider requests for grants twice a year, in June and December.
The trust says applicants need to demonstrate how the grant will fulfil the objectives of Louth United Charities in providing relief for those in need within the Ancient Parish of Louth.
Each application is considered on its merits and the trustees award variable grants after giving due consideration to the information provided.
The Trustees will meet to consider applications on Monday, June 1, with the deadline for applications being May 1, 2026.
