Holiday park confirms pub opening date and invites locals

In a little over six weeks, the first phase of a £15m redevelopment of Seven Lakes holiday park in Lincolnshire will be unveiled.
Friday March 27 will see the new Dog and Duck pub open for the first time on the family resort near Crowle – and local residents are equally as welcome as the many caravan owners to enjoy a pint, a glass of wine and all the classic pub food favourites including a superb carvery on Sundays.
“It’s been a very busy winter as we invest heavily into improving and adding to what we have at Seven Lakes,” said resort director Rod Marlow.
“When there is significant change there is always some concerns, but one thing I do want to make clear is that when the Dog and Duck opens next month we would love to see lots of guests from the neighbouring towns and villages.

“We will always put our owners and guests at the forefront of everything we do, but it’s equally important that we look after and work with those around us.
“These are exciting times for us and 2026 will see Seven Lakes transformed, and I’d invite anyone in the area to join us on March 27.”
Over the last few months, Unity Holidays – owners of Seven Lakes and two other family holiday parks in the UK – have spent millions on turning the previous lounge and restaurant into the Dog and Duck, which will serve food and drink throughout the day as well as being the venue for entertainment.
A completely transformed menu will offer everything from traditional Sunday carveries to freshly made, home-cooked pizzas.

The other Unity Holidays, which are close to the beach, have pubs called the Wonky Donkey but the Dog and Duck was chosen for Seven Lakes to reflect its location among countryside and lakes.
Seven Lakes have also submitted plans for the construction of both indoor and outdoor swimming pools as well as pitches to introduce new holiday homes, meaning the park is set to welcome its first holidaymakers this year.
Despite its name, the park actually has a total of 10 lakes, and activities that utilise the water will feature highly – among the plans is an assault course on the water, as well as kayaks, rowing boats and paddleboards.
When the warmer weather comes, Seven Lakes will offer a new outdoor seating area complete with firepits.
The opening of the new Dog and Duck pub and restaurant at Seven Lakes takes place on Friday March 27, and tickets are not required.
