Horncastle 41 Club enjoys visit by national president
Members of Horncastle Round table’s ‘41 Club’ were delighted to host their National President, Kelly Clark, recently.
Kelly joined chairman Gary Fisher and six members at Old Nicks Tavern in Horncastle for a social evening on Tuesday, September 1.
Gary said: "It was good to meet Kelly. It was a pleasant evening where we learned more about 41 Club's activities nationally and Kelly hopefully enjoyed our Lincolnshire hospitality.
"Our thanks must go to Sally at Old Nicks for a lovely buffet. Old Nicks has become our social home. We meet the first Tuesday of the month from 7pm. New members are welcome."

41 Club member Julian Millington said: "We are a very friendly and social group, who as well as the social evenings, have recently enjoyed a history of Horncastle walk followed by fish and chips, a demonstration of cider making evening and a rifle shooting night. Many more activities are planned."
41 Club is linked to Round Table. Their members leave at the age of 40 and members can then join the 41 Club. It promotes friendship and actively supports local communities. It is not necessary to have been a member of Round Table to become a member of 41 Club.
