New Lincolnshire Holiday Show ready for take off

Lincolnshire Co-op Travel is set to host its 2026 Holiday Show at Lincolnshire Showground’s Epic Centre on Sunday, January 18.

Moving away from the traditional event format, the local travel agent is creating an immersive experience for attendees, complete with passports and airport security.

Upon entry, holidaymakers will walk through an airport scanner, before having their Holiday Show passports stamped, entering them into a prize draw to win one of the two £250 Lincolnshire Co-op travel vouchers up for grabs, or free accommodation in a Domes Resort in either Portugal or Greece or a three-night holiday to Jersey.

The venue will be decorated with models of international landmarks and an airport departures board, there will be a stage for presentations, a coffee shop, and a designated booking area, with guests benefitting from £50 off all bookings on the day.

Already, more than 540 people have booked onto this free event. There are 32 holiday suppliers hosting stalls, sharing information and exclusive offers with attendees. These will include 13 cruise specialists covering a range of trips, such as ocean, expedition and river, as well as operators offering family-friendly breaks, UK holidays, long-haul destinations, solo travel and adventure holidays.

Julie Walters, Travel Commercial Development Manager at Lincolnshire Co-op, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming new and returning customers to our brand-new Holiday Show. Previously, we have hosted a Cruise and Escorted Touring Show, but by diversifying our suppliers, we can cater to a wider audience and offer attendees more choice.

“When booking a holiday, our teams go above and beyond for our customers, ensuring that they don’t have to worry about a thing. Face-to-face interaction, being able to ask questions and discuss options, is one of the ways we achieve this – and is why an event like this is so valuable.”

The show takes place from 10am until 3pm on Sunday, January 18, and bookings can be made on the Lincolnshire Co-op website – www.lincolnshire.coop
